amalgamated with Russell Street Methodist Church. See BT 16/9/530 Picture p13, BT 6/9/24. Original building was corner of Canning Street and Walmersley Road. Church bought the old New Jeruslaem Church (q.v.) & used it as a Sunday School. Later when the original church building became too big for the congregation the Sunday School converted into a church & Sunday School. New Jerusalenm Church was sited at corner of Walmersley Rd and Vernon St.
