Lived at Stand Old Hall for some time.Born 7/2/1828 Died at Nottingham Feb 1887. Lancs dialect poet who wrote regularly in BT c. 1864. Rochdale library has many of his works.. m Eliza Hart of Guernsey, 7 children. Directory for Nottingham, described as yarn agent. Buried at St John's Church, Carnington, Nottingham.Wrote some freemasonry poetry.
