In 2014 I decided to publish my theory as to where the Battle ofBrunanburh was fought. This theory was really just an outline, Iintended to expand on it in a further, more in depth publication.Unfortunately, in late 2014 the publishing company was forced to closedown. This not only prevented copies of this book from being publishedit has also put on hold the publication of the more in depth analysis of thebattle. This publication has the working title of “Brunanburh, Why theWirral.” It is hoped this book will be ready for publication in 2018.This booklet is not quite a copy of the original publication. I have tidedup some of the sections and added a few additional notes about the battlesite but the essential outline of the book remains the same; it is a theory inprint.
