Late 18th century.Built between 1790 and 1818.Appears on a map of 1818 butnot on one of 1790. A M greenwood lived there durinf this period. 1818-38 was the residence of Rev.Thomas Foxley who was rectar of Radcliffe 1784-1838.1841 Richard Bealey, bleacher lived there.In 1850 a Thomas lomax Openshaw of the firm Jonathan Openshaw & Son, spinners of Brooksmouth Mill elton lived there.In 1880 Ald John Duckworth of Duckworth Halstead. Bury Golf club took over the premises about 1920.up to 1930's was Unsworth lodge.This information has been supplied by library staff and may not be entirely accurate.
