1902 acquired by the Bleacher's Association as Shuttleworth Bleach Co. Ltd. On 1929 map situated between main road, Bye Road and Church Road. 1844 map - states "New Mill Cotton". It may have been known as Crossbank Mill at one time. WM Rumney and Co. at Crossbank Mill in 1888.
