Attorney-at-law. Subscribe to William Tunnicliff's "Topographical Survey of the Counties of Stafford, Chester and Lancaster", 1787.Born in Colne, 1753. Son of Richard Shaw, attorney. Qualified as an attorney in 1780. Practised in Bury Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings from 1780-1793. Joined by his brother William in 1796 and by R. Parker in 1798. 1801 L. Shaw only in practise. 1802 moved to Burnley. Related to Woodcock's solicitors??
