Halstead results. Despite a tunrover which rose by £3 million to £15.46 million in the year ended June 30th, taxable profits of the flooring and waterproof clothing group James Halstead (Holdings) dropped from £317,025 to £196,590. But tax credits of £108,904 compared with tax charges of £134,700 the previous year left the net balance well ahead at £305, 494 compared with £182,325 1976. Earnings per 10p share are stated at 2.79p and the first and final dividend is uncharged at 0.325p.
