Body found in a canal at Pendleton, not identified till several months later - 14/02/1863. Her husband, Luke Charles, a Bury police constable, previously of the Irish constabulary, sentenced to death for her murder at Liverpool Assizes 22/12/1863. Executed at Kirkdale Gaol - 09/01/1864.
